Whyte's T-129 series is widely recognised for combining confidence inspiring stability at high speeds, with incredibly sharp handling not normally associated with 29” wheels, to create an award winning series. As well as benefiting from Whyte's out-at-the-front and in-at-the-back geometry, this 2016 T-129-S is kitted out with adjustable RockShox Revelation RL 120mm travel fork and RockShox Monarch Debonair RT rear shock. Built from 6061 T6 aluminium, the 2016 T-129-S frame is equipped with all of Whyte's various weather-proofing innovations and is definitely made to last. The T-129-S comes with tubeless ready WTB Asym i23 29” rims and tubeless ready front and rear specific WTB tyres. Going tubeless offers a range of benefits from reduced rolling resistance, to reducing the chance of a puncture and removing the weight of an inner tube. With alloy double sealed cartridge bearing hubs the WTB rims are built to go anywhere for many years. WTB stainless steel spokes round out an excellent wheel/tyre combination designed to provide longevity and performance.

The T-129-S comes with SRAM's GX 10x2 speed groupset. With a 22-36 tooth chainset and an 11-36 tooth cassette, this bike offers some very easy hill gears in both its small and big chainring, without sacrificing good gears for fast flats. SRAM's DB5 disc brakes will provide reliable braking in all conditions. Whyte are particularly good at making bikes with specific focuses that are simultaneously good everywhere off-road, the T-129-S is no exception.
