Not just very high grade carbon, it utilises carbon nanotube technology for a peerless tensile strength to weight ratio, allowing the frame to become lighter without sacrificing rigidity or structural strength. The Nitrogen Pro's frame is super light at only 830g for size medium, meaning it has superb ride characteristics, even with its aerodynamic focus. The Nitrogen Pro frameset has been developed with shielded TRP rim brakes that sit behind the forks and seat-stays, for enhanced aerodynamics, whilst still achieving reliable braking performance.
All of the Nitrogen Pro's components are designed together as a single highly integrated package perfectly encapsulating Argon-18's Optimal Balance concept. Optimal balance demands that each and every frameset produced by Argon-18 excels in every area of ride characteristics. Through expert integration the Nitrogen Pro frameset, doesn't just blow competition away when carving through air resistance in a straight line. The frameset comes with Argon's own ASP 5100 Aero carbon seatpost that is reversible, offering the ability to change the bike to a time trial or triathlon bike, enabling a more forward riding position working best with Tri-bars. The Nitrogen Pro also comes with Argon's amazing AHB 5000 carbon handlebar system that enables the bars to be superbly sleek and aero, with an integrated bar and stem, which is highly adjustable. This is designed as an integrated package incorporating Argon's 3D system head-tube, enabling each bike to be custom-fit and setup with headtube length, handlebar height and stem length to best suit the riders geometry without resorting to the usual stack of headset spacers. Both these features encourage a rider to find their proper fit aboard the Nitrogen Pro for optimal performance. A high quality full carbon fork rounds the frameset out.
