- The next generation of Assos' flagship WorldTour bib shorts, reengineered with lower weight, increased cooling breathability, and more comfortable, body-wrapping compression from waist to raw-cut leg openings.BEHIND THE PRODUCTThe critical updates to the new EQUIPE RS shorts are a new textile and a new insert. The new textile, Type.911, allowed Assos to completely reengineer the cut, reducing the seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting fit across the legs and waist. It also let the designers eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, because Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.411 used on the previous generation. Rather than merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelope the rider’s body in omnidirectional, body-mapped stability. It also dries quickly, preventing weight gained through lingering moisture, and is equipped with UPF 50+ protection and odor control.CONSTRUCTION/FITThe racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback and proven with WorldTour results.
