Not only does the MX146 feature Lake’s Legendary Fiberglass injected Nylon sole, but also one of the most technically advanced rubber soles. The Supergrip rubber sole features ICE LOCK tread inserts, which are vertically injected micro glass fibers that grip virtually all surfaces. This gives you a wet weather cycling shoe that is sure footed and stable in any condition.Upper: The upper features softshell fabric, water resistant microfiber, Thinsulate 200gr insulation and a waterproof membrane making this a highly water resistant cycling shoe great in various conditions. Clarino microfiber offers great durability and the suppleness found in leather at a significant weight reduction.Closure: BOA® Fit System M4 dial. The M4 dial is built for gloves and freezing temperatures, defying sand, mud, and ice. Combined with Click-Fit quick release, the system makes for easy entry and exit.Temperature Rating: Down to 25°F/-4°C.Water Resistance: The uppers are treated with a durable water resistant (DWR) coating that will wear away over time. We recommend reapplying a DWR spray 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and every 2-3 wet rides for daily riders.
