Orro's Gold frame is a killer combination of classy and pacey. The frame is made from high grade Carbon Fibre, with a high strength to weight ratio, meaning it can provide incredible stiffness for enhanced power transfer and precision handling, whilst remaining light. In order to maximise rider happiness and potential it is also designed to be a very comfortable bike. By utilising different strength carbon on different areas of the bike, Orro have produced a bike with super-stiff lower and frontal tubing for enhanced power transfer and handling, with progressively more flexible carbon being used higher up the bike to help tackle road buzz and aid rider comfort. A frame capable of excellent performance is most easily utilised to its full extent when the person riding it is comfortable and happy. Orro describe their Gold bikes as their “Gran Fondo” (Big Ride) bikes. This is reflected in the frames geometry, with the Gold's relatively long and relaxed frame, designed to encourage stability and help tackle the rougher road surfaces you may come across on a big ride. Combining excellent materials, design and geometry, Orro's Gold frame is simply fantastic, presenting a fine balance between comfort, performance and elegance.
To celebrate the Gold frame Orro have released signature bikes specially hand painted by master artisans in Sussex. Campagnolo's Chorus groupset is an excellent choice for this bike, its crisp carbon fibre design matching up fantastically with the white gold paint scheme. Reflecting the aim of blending style and performance, the Chorus groupset is nothing short of fantastic quality, delivering smooth shifting and confident braking. The 11-25 tooth 11 speed cassette, presents a close ratio of gears, to give a rider tight control over their gearing, so they can always find the gear they want. Fulcrum's Racing Quattro wheels and Continental's Grand Prix tyres combine neatly further complimenting the mission for style, comfort and performance. 3T Ergonova Pro handlebars, Arx II Pro and Stlyus 25 Pro seatpost, are a suitably high quality finishing touch with this build. At flat Harry's we can offer alternative sizes of these 3T components in order to see to it that out customers receive the best fit on the bike.
