Argon-18's Nitrogen frameset is all about achieving streamlined aerodynamics and outright speed, but making sure this remains balanced with responsiveness and agility. The frameset is sleek and slim, ready to slice through the air on straights, but also stiff and light enough to flick through tricky bends. The frame is built from Nanotech HM6003 carbon, coming with an ASP 5050 carbon seatpost and a full carbon fork. In-line with Argon-18's horizontal dual system (HDS) the Nitrogen is super stiff on the lower and frontal tubes, so it transfers power efficiently and handles properly at high speeds. It is less stiff on the upper and rear tubes to provide a more comfortable ride, which is vital on a frameset that encourages a physically demanding aero-position and a high pace ride. The Nitrogen comes with TRP rim brakes which are concealed behind the forks and seatstays, delivering optimal aerodynamics and reliable braking performance. To top it off the Nitrogen's frame weighs only 960g, which is impressive given its deep aero tubing.
A product of Argon-18's Fit System (AFS), the Nitrogen is designed to be ergonomic, comfortable and responsive for anyone who rides it. Presenting a delicate balance between aerodynamic pace and lightweight road bike handling, the Nitrogen can be utilised in many ways. Coming with a reversible ASP-5050 carbon seatpost, you could set the Nitrogen up for time trial or TT riding, with it's enhanced aerodyanmics giving you an edge. With its deft handling it can perform equally well on longer and less aggressive rides. Presenting 3 different options for handlebar height, the Nitrogen benefits from Argon-18's 3D headtube system, meaning the framesets fit can be customised to ensure proper position when riding. The integrated nature of Argon's 3D headtube, means that it removes the need for multiple headset spacers, instead using one aerodynamically shaped spacer for increased in stiffness. Operating with minimal resistance and maximum control in all areas, the Nitrogen is a fantastic aero road frameset, primed for incredible performance.
Equally apt for high quality performance is Shimano's new Ultegra 8000 groupset. Taking the aesthetic and more importantly, a few key design features of Shimano's top Dura-Ace groupset, Ultegra 8000 is lightweight, reliable and responsive, making for a great time riding. To deliver a bike tailored to suit our respective customers, we will discuss chainset and cassette ratios upon purchase. Fulcrum's durable Racing Quattro wheels and Vittoria's Rubino tyres are great for training and group riding. Deda' Zero bar and stem compliment the Nitrogen nicely and Prologo's Kappa RS saddle is a great way to round off the build. At Flat Harry's we can offer different sized 3T equivalents of the Deda components with this bike, to make sure our customers get the best fit possible on their new bike, with proper rider position being vital to reaping the Nitrogen's aerodynamic benefits. Designed for fast and engaging performance the Nitrogen frameset comes alive with Shimano's Ultegra groupset.
