Early Rider's 20” Belter range absolutely lives up to its name. The addition of 3 gears, allows your child to really spread their wings and have a proper explore. This extra functionality comes doesn't compromise Early Riders aim of producing durable and low maintenance bikes either. Achieved through a 3 speed SRAM i-Motion gear hub, there is no fiddly rear dérailleur to maintain or break. This also allows Early Rider to stick with belt drive, which is beneficial for a number of reasons. Belts rarely stretch and will last for thousands of miles, without requiring any regular maintenance such as lubrication, also meaning it doesn't pick up as much dirt and grit that lubricant often attracts to a chain. The belt drive/gear hub drivetrain means less hassle all round and a durable bike that can withstand years of riding with very little maintenance, meaning more time can be spent focusing on having fun.

The 20” Trail Belter was made with rougher tracks in mind and as such is equipped with Avid BB-5 disc brakes for extra stopping power on tricky trails and Maxxis Maxx Daddy off-road tyres for extra control and grip. The 20” Trail Belter weighs in at 8.4kg, which is relatively light for a childs bike with respectable off-road ability. The bike is rather nippy on roads too, being designed for low rolling-resistance, with high thread count high psi tyres, sealed cartridge bearing hubs and even bespoke full bearing aluminium pedals, which all combine to make the 20” Trail Belter quick off the mark and capable of holding lots of momentum when freewheeling.
