CygoLite

Founded in Irvine California in 1991, Cygolite have been responsible for some of the most important cycle light technology advances in recent years. Mainly I'm referring to the innovation of USB rechargeable cycle lights that first entered the market in 2007, under the Cygolite brand. Over a decade on, Cygolite continue to produce high quality USB rechargeable lights, that we proudly stock at Flat Harry's. With a strong commitment to quality with every light they produce, Cygolite are known for more than just their clever battery technology. The lenses on all of their lights are fantastic and make sure that the light emitted is properly focused into neatly shaped beams, benefiting both the cyclist trying to see and the other road users trying to see the cyclist. This also means that Cygolite can produce powerful lights with relatively low amounts of lumens compared to other manufacturers, that rely on higher power LED's to achieve good illumination. The problem with this approach is that it is power-hungry and by utilising lower power LEDs that are well optimised, Cygolite's lights have very good battery lives. To this day Cygolite are continuing to innovate and push the boundaries of cycle light development, so if you need cycle lights for any reason Cygolite are always a good bet!
